Detailed Itinerary
Sacred Valley Escape: Maras, Moray & Mountain View Picnic
Itinerary
Scenic Start: Hotel Pickup and Drive to Maras
We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and set off in your private vehicle towards the Maras sector, enjoying spectacular views along the way.
The Inca Greenhouse: Moray
Explore Moray, the ancient Inca agricultural experimentation center, with its perfectly designed circular terraces.
The Salt Ponds: Maras Salt Mines
Visit Maras, with hundreds of active salt ponds used since pre-Inca times. The contrast of the white salt against the landscape makes it one of the most photogenic spots in the valley.
The Highlight: Andean Picnic with a View
This is what sets the experience apart. We’ll set up a beautiful picnic spot just for you, featuring fresh, local products. Relax under a tipi setup with blankets and Andean cushions, and savor the incredible mountain views. We even include an optional watercolor painting session.
Flexible Conclusion: Cusco or Ollantaytambo
After the picnic, you have two options:
- Return to Cusco.
- Transfer to Ollantaytambo (additional cost applies).
